Hi Mr Totsy,
Microsoft has abandoned Works for OSX quite some time ago. FileJuicer http://echoone.com/filejuicer/formats/formats?f=wps seems to have a way to use a 'brute-force' approach to extract the text part of the wps files. And/or MacLink Plus can handle Works files http://www.dataviz.com/products/maclinkplus/ Or you can install Windows on your Mac if you have a Windows CD and the Works CD still with you. Have a look at VirtualBox http://www.virtualbox.org/ for installing Windows and Works. Regards Stefan

zridling is right. I get mixed results with this software, which admittedly says it cannot necessarily convert some aspects between some versions of Word. Honestly, though, why not? MS continually irritates its customers and, in this case, with no detectable advances in the docx format. A pox on their house and fingers crossed for the establishment of open standards not tied to multinational profiteers

Thats really great stuff !! As a MAC user i often needed this app to convert some of mine Word or Excel documents. I also find some interesting details of the same at http://www.techarena.in/...ormat-converter-mac.htm that help me lot. You can have a look if you are in need of some more info.

To what format do the filters convert to?
This is kinda very important, don't you think people? darthbeads reviewed v1.0.1 on Oct 20, 2008
Sorry, zridling, but she works just fine here. Could be user error perhaps?

Just like the Windows version, this DOES NOT WORK! Apparently, the MS-OOXML spec is so poorly written that no one will ever be able to write a conversion filter for it. MS-OOXML died at birth.
